Royal Raymond Rife (May 16, 1888 – August 5, 1971) was an American inventor and early exponent of high-magnification time-lapse cine-micrography. He is best known for a claimed 'beam ray' invention during the 1930s, which he thought could treat some diseases through vibration.
Royal Raymond Rife developed the Rife machine in the 1920s. He was an American scientist. The machine is also called a Rife frequency generator.

The original Rife machine was invented by Raymond Royal Rife, a brilliant American microbiologist who had a passion for healing and truth.
